Work > unfolding landscapes

Site 2:Gorge represents a ‘natural site’ downstream from and into which alluvium and decomposing man-made materials from the upstream dump are carried. It splits and extends, opens outward and reveals the geologic actions of cutting, pressing and scouring that are still alive and at work there. When closed it is a 'featureless plain' measuring 42” H x 18” W x 6” D. When fully opened, discovered, and explored, it is 84” H x18” W and of varying heights.
